Taormina Paragliding Experience

Thank you for organizing. The flight was fantastic, comfortable, and safe, thanks to our experienced instructor, Massimo. A wonderful experience in Sicily, with magnificent views of the coast.

Massimo is an absolute legend! It was my first time paragliding, and I was terrified. But thanks to his endless jokes (seriously, I laughed so much I forgot I was supposed to be scared of heights), I actually started having fun! He made the whole experience feel super safe and gave me just the right amount of control to feel like I wasn’t just dangling helplessly in the air.

Oh, and when he couldn’t transfer my pictures and videos, he handed over the SD card like it was a priceless treasure—talk about top-tier customer service!

10/10 experience—I’d happily fly through the skies with Massimo again. If you’re thinking about paragliding, this is your guy!

Diese Tour war ein einmaliges Erlebnis. Ich hatte einen super netten Tourguide, der Massimiliano hieß. Er hat einen immer direkt mit Namen angeredet und Gespräche geführt, sodass von Beginn an eine lockere Atmosphäre geherrscht hat. Das Paragliding war für mich das erste Mal aber ich habe es sehr genossen und nie Angst gehabt. Massimiliano hatte alles super im Griff und sich stetig nach dem Wohlbefinden erkundet. Zuerst ging es auf den Berg Gallodro von wo aus die Tour begann. Leider war die Sicht durch Saharastaub nicht so ideal- man konnte zwar den Strand von Letojanni, nicht aber den Etna oder die Küste Italiens sehen. Aufgrund nicht idealer Wetter-/Windverhältnisse ging die Tour leider nicht so lang wie erhofft, aber es war dennoch ein tolles Erlebniss, vorallem weil Massimiliano zusätzlich Akrobatik eingebaut hat. Ein cooles Gefühl ähnlich wie Achterbahn fahren. Die Tour war auf jeden Fall lohnenswert und ist zu empfehlen!

The instructors created a warm and inviting atmosphere. They patiently addressed all my inquiries and actively engaged in discussions on a variety of topics. Discovering their extensive experience added an extra layer of reassurance to the whole experience.

Once securely harnessed to my instructor and the countdown from three began, I initially hesitated and contemplated backing out. The thought of sprinting off the cliff filled me with a sense of intimidation and uncertainty. However, another instructor then demonstrated the relaxed pace at which I would actually run, instantly soothing my nerves. With a gentle tug on my harness, the same instructor encouraged me to take the first step, and as the parachute caught the wind, I knew it was time to embrace the moment.

From the very beginning of the adventure, and all the way through to the exhilarating moments of soaring in the air, I was consistently provided with clear instructions that were never intrusive or bothersome. I was even given the chance to take control of the paraglider, which added an extra level of excitement to the experience. The stunning views only made the whole adventure even more magnificent. Yet, the most electrifying and unforgettable highlight was the optional acrobatic segment, featuring exhilarating turns in the air that I could choose to participate in.

I was delighted to receive GoPro footage from the instructors capturing every moment of the adventure and giving me a precious keepsake. Overall, this experience exceeded my expectations and offered outstanding value for the price.

This was an amazing experience. I never thought I would have the courage to participate in paragliding, but while doing it, I was never even nervous.
The pilot was very experianced, humerous, and also informative. He spoke enough English for us to have a good conversation while gliding over so many beautiful sights.
I would say a must do!

A wonderful view and some very friendly guides. It is a unique experience.

Esperienza unica e da ripetere. Gli istruttori sono molto professionali. Ti mettono a loro agio e rendono il volo tranquillo e stupendo. Il tutto viene registrato e fotografato con una Gopro di alta qualità. E’ come ammirare un paesaggio seduto da una poltrona a casa. Una sensazione indescrivibile, un momento di pura libertá e leggerezza che, almeno una volta nella vita tutti dovrebbero provare.

Arrivati con la loro vettura in cima ci hanno preparato e messo a nostro agio per il lancio. Una volta volati su per le montagne un’esperienza Magnifica! Il pilota ti spiega come muoverti e come capire le correnti e ti fa sentire a tuo agio..non farai altro che goderti il panorama. Le finali acrobazie sul mare uno spettacolo! Da ripetere!
