A relaxing start, sheltered by the coast, passing through a sea route straying outside the bay, but remaining always within the protected marine reserve, in total relaxation listening to the sea. Here you can admire Isola Bella, a small famous island connected by a strip of beach to the shoreline and the rocky barrier overhanging capo Taormina from the seabed. Concluding the short break in the lagoon we continue to row in a northern direction until coming to the Blue Grotto. It is a sea cave which, due to the rays of the sun filtering down, transforms the seabed into a brightly fluorescent blue.

The fauna

In addition to the characteristic flora on the rocky walls, during the kayak route along the coast of Taormina, it will be possible to admire also the fauna, above all the cormorant, the Audouin’s gull, the Yellow-legged gull, the kingfisher, the greater swallow and the dolphins of the Ionic sea.
